Celebrate My Drive

MADD Nebraska is excited to join with State Farm and ServeNebraska to rally schools, students and the community for Celebrate My Drive.

Celebrate My Drive is a nationwide campaign encouraging teens to make positive choices when they drive. MADD feels this event is important because we know that car crashes are the leading killer of teens, and their first year on the road is the most dangerous. By sharing positive teen driver safety messages with these young drivers, we give them a more powerful message that reaches them far better than scare tactics. Through MADD’s Power of Youth program, we work to add onto positive safe driving messages and add in positive decision making skills, especially when it comes to underage drinking.

Celebrate My Drive - HomepageWe encourage you to check out www.celebratemydrive.com to see if your school is already registered. If you aren’t, work with a school administrator to get your school on the site. If you are, get ready for October! Celebrate My Drive runs October 18th-26th, during that time frame students, parents and the community will be encouraged to make safe driving commitments on behalf of your school, the more commitments the greater the chance of winning prizes, did we mention there are prizes?! Your school could win grant money, or a grand prize concert with Kelly Clarkson.

We are so excited to be working with great partners to encourage area schools to get involved in this event. Not only is it a great chance to win for your school, but it is an amazing opportunity to keep youth safe. By bringing attention to driving safety and underage drinking, we help students to make positive decisions for their future. So join us to Celebrate My Drive and keep the youth of Nebraska safe!
